On Friday, we had some pretty miserable weather. Coming from the sky, in this order: snow, freezing rain, sleet, freezing rain, and finally, lots of rain. The next day my daughter's pal had a sledding birthday party. The hard-packed snow made for fast, Olympic-quality runs. No wonder all the kids wore helmets.
